#4. Fish chopping scene in "What Remains of Edith Finch":-

The fish chopping is itself quite a bold expression, but what makes it embellish is the bizzare but the most accurate depiction of how a person starts drifiting away from the reality.

In the above picture, the chopping of fish is the work the character is doing in the real world, but the left hand picture is the imaginary kingdom he lives inside his head. As the time move forwards, the picture in the hands completly takes over the real life even that was going on. This was used to illustrate that the person has compeletey moved on from his real life.

This little scene in this little game is so vivid, so powerful, so full of emotions and most importantly the full use of artistic potential one can have to express themselves in a video game. It also led me to thinking, how powerful videogames can be as a medium?

#3.Taking the first steps into the twisted and dark world of Yharnam in "Bloodborne":-

This scene in particular doesn't do anything. But the world of Yharnam contains this unsettling aura, one that graps people attention and terrifes them of what's to come in the next street you venture into even though the game is not necessairly a horror game.

Especifically when your character dies for the first time and is teleported to the Hunters Dream- the hub place of the game. The moon shining in the background at its fullest, a small set of stairs leading up to a cottage in the middle of nowhere. This scene is just so beautiful and scary at the same time that the words fall short to desrible the set of vivid emotions that engulfs our soul in that particular time and space.
