Top selling Amiibo chart dominated by Link, Mario, Pikachu and Kirby

According to the third quarter financial report of Nintendo the amiibo’s sales have attributed to a major part of Nintendo's revenue . To highlight this pheonomenon Nintendo has taken the pains of presenting a slide that has revealed the top ten best selling amiibo figures sorted by the region of sales. This sales ranking chart does not entirely represent the demand for certain figures as many of the amiibo’s had been sold out since launch.

This does not perfectly represent the popularity for each character because some amiibo were out-of-stock

The popularity of Link, Mario, Pikachu, Kirby, and Samus was witnessed in the US whereas the stats of other regions reflected some differences. Irrespective of the regions there are some figures that made it to the top ten these charaters where Link, Kirby, Mario, Marth, Pikachu, Yoshi, Samus, Captain Falcon, Pit, Little Mac, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Peach, Luigi, and Rosalina this amounts to about fifteen amiibo’s out of a possible 29 that are somewhat currently available.
