Blizzard Dragon is one of the most popular Town Hall 12 air attacking strategies in Clash of Clans. This attacking strategy focuses on using the Super Wizard Blimp opening strategy with Invisible spells. Once the damage is done by Super Wizards, Dragons and Balloons are used to clear the remaining defenses.

Players can use this strategy on any base, but Super Wizards work best with closed bases where all major defenses are kept together with each other. Practicing this strategy in multiplayer bases is recommended as the proper deployment of troops is required to earn a perfect three stars.

In this article, we will explore the Town Hall 12 Blizzard Dragon attacking strategy, its army composition, and provide a step-by-step guide to using it in Clash of Clans.

Battle Blimp moves towards the Town Hall, allowing players to drop the Super Wizards and Invisible spells to clear crucial defensive buildings and the base core. Super Wizards deal area damage, and if used correctly, they can take all defenses like Eagle Artillery, Inferno Towers, Scatter Shots, and Town Hall.

Once the base core is cleared by the Blizzard opening strategy, Dragons and Balloons are used to clear the remaining buildings. Other air troops are also used to help Battle Blimp reach the base core without getting destroyed.

The army composition of Town Hall 12 Blizzard Dragon attacking strategy in Clash of Clans is as follows:

  • 1 Lava Hound
  • 1 Baby Dragon
  • 7 Balloons
  • 10 Dragons
  • 1 Wizard
  • 1 Archer
  • 2 Rage spells
  • 1 Freeze spell
  • 1 Clone spell
  • 3 Invisible spells
  • Super Wizards, Battle Blimp, and Invisible spells (clan castle)

Players can change the army composition depending on the base. More clearing troops like Minions and Baby Dragons should be used to get a perfect three stars on open Town Hall 12 bases.

Following is the step-by-step guide to using the Town Hall 12 Blizzard Dragon attacking strategy in Clash of Clans to get perfect three stars on multiplayer and clans war bases:

  1. Find a compartment from where most of the crucial defenses can easily be taken down. Now drop the Lava Hound with Battle Blimp to help it reach the perfect location.
  2. Drop the invisible spell and manually open the Battle Blimp. Now drop the Rage spell and Clone spell on Super Wizards and continuously drop the remaining Invisible spells.
  3. If the Invisible spells are not placed correctly, Super Wizards won't be able to clear all the crucial buildings.
  4. Once Super Wizards have done their job, use Baby Dragon and Wizard to clear outside buildings. This would create a funnel from Balloons, Grand Warden, and Dragons.
  5. Drop all the Dragons, Balloons, and Grand Warden together to clear the remaining base. Use the Rage spell and Freeze spell according to the situation. The Freeze spell should preferably be used on Inferno Towers.
  6. Use Archer Queen and Barbarian King to clear outside buildings and distract air-targeting defenses like Archer Towers. The remaining troops like Archers should be used to clear corner buildings.

Players may change the Blizzard Dragon attacking strategy according to the base. If the opponent has an open base, players use some Minions before the Dragons to clear outside buildings.
