According to Ubisoft’s latest blog post, their mobile racing game Trials Frontier will be getting a big update which will include a new PvP mode. Players will now have the chance to compete against each other in this free-to-play racing title.
The PvP mode will have no restarts and players will have to compete with each other in these new matches over month-long season while trying their best to reach the highest rank. Each match will pit players against each other on three different tracks, at the end of which players will receive a prize. These prizes may include PvP Chips, which can then be used to unlock new features like new tracks and outfits from the Chip Store.
According the lead designer of Trials Frontiers Justin Swan, the games PvP mode will be “ the largest in-game update in Trials Frontier, and will be the first time a true competitive Player vs. Player has ever come to the Trials universe. We’ve worked diligently to create a PvP mode that lets players race each other asynchronously while also keeping the competitive Trials spirit alive. We’re inviting all of our players to come fight for a spot on our Legends Leaderboard for fame, glory and in-game winnings.”
Of course, getting on the Legends Leaderboard will not be easy and players will have to compete against some of the best while also making sure that they’re at the top of their game. The PvP mode is definitely a great addition to an already competitive game like Trials Frontier.
The game is available for free in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. Check out more information on the game at their website.
