The video game TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3 will contain a realistic replica of the 37.73-mile Snaefell track and centre on the Isle of Man TT motorcycle races. The legendary motorbike Road Racing scenario, where many motorbikes compete on closed public roads in gridded races or time trial forms, will be recreated in TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3. It's the sequel to TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 in 2020.
TT Isle of Men: Ride on the Edge 3 Gameplay
While KT Racing in Paris was in charge of the previous two TT Isle of Man games, Raceward Studios takes over for the third instalment. Raceward Studios, based in Milan, Italy, previously worked on the RiMS Racing.
Therefore the crew is familiar with developing realistic motorcycle racing simulators.
Ride on the Edge 3 will have 32 current and historical circuits. In addition, there will be around 40 Superbike and Supersport motorcycles and riders. Each bike can be improved, bringing you closer to being the quickest on the island.
Will TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3 feature VR?
At launch, VR will not be available in TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3. "You have to understand that VR [in motorcycle games] is not so simple; there are many other aspects to managing motion sickness," says Fabio Respighi, Head of Design at RaceWard Studio.
"The camera is very different than in a car: because sitting in a car, the head does not move with the [car's movements]." "However, with a motorbike, the rider is [moving with the bike's movements]," he concluded.
RaceWard has not ruled out the possibility of VR in the future, but it will not be a launch feature of the game.
Which motorbikes and riders will be in TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3?

Among the confirmed riders are TT legends John McGuinness and Davey Todd, as well as officially licenced motorcycles from Honda, BMW, Kawasaki, Triumph, Suzuki, and Yamaha.
TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 3 has 25 riders and 15 motorbike variants.
