Latest scoop hs revealed that apparently a trademark for Twisted Metal has been filed in Europe and this has lead fans to investigate the possibility, that a sequel for the game is under the pipeline, the original game was released in 2012 for PlayStation 3.
First spotted by fans on NeoGaf who cliamed to have seen a European trademark filing for Twisted Metal made by Sony Computer Entertainment. This trademarks of this title are also used for toys, games and a variety of mediums. Although there is no real reason to get our hopes high as we evidently know the PlayStation 3 iteration of Twisted Metal never sold as much as Sony had initially predicted, however was not a total failure and managed to build up its own loyall fan base with 2012 release. Also, Twisted Metal is the profound creation of David Jaffe and it is doubtful that we will hear anything about it soon as he is busy working on the upcoming free-to-play Drawn To Death on PlayStation 4. Our guess is as good as the next, but it seems that the trademark filing might just be Sony renewing it to cover all their bases
