Two new Mega Evolutions for Pokemon Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire

The Pokemon Company has been consistently revealing brand new Mega Evolutions ever since the announcement of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire months ago. The latest announcement has revealed two brand new Mega Evolutions, namely Mega Steelix and Mega Glalie with the demo confirming their debuts.

According to Serebii, Mega Steelix will be a Steel and Ground dual-type Pokemon while Mega Glalie maintains its Ice type only. In addition, Mega Steelix will come with the brand new special ability called Sand Force, while Mega Glalie will have Refrigerate as his new special ability. Both Pokemons are destined to get upgrades in their design, with Mega Glalie getting improved the most. Mega Steelix appears to get crystals added across its body along with some blue and black spots in places. Mega Glalie looks almost like a full evolutionary stage higher for Glalie, with a much more formidable look.

With a number of Mega Evos already revealed, it is less likely that any more will be out before the release of the game. In any case, we’ll keep you updated. The game is set for a release on November 21st exclusively for Nintendo 2DS and 3DS.
