Ubisoft has earned the "Guinness World Record for the Highest Altitude Videogame Session." This was awarded to Ubisoft after William Cruz, a 23 year old from Utah, played Far Cry 4 in the Everest Himalayas.
Cruz played the game in the Everest at an elevation of 18,569 feet (5,660 meters). So that's the record to beat (if you're planning on it !!). He hiked up the mountain named "Kala Patthar" and played Far Cry 4 in low air pressure and freezing weather conditions for 79 minutes.
Cruz had been given the opportunity to play the game early because he was the winner of Ubisoft's contest to bring one player to the Himalayas, which is the setting of Far Cry 4.
