Upcoming Genshin Impact Standard banner character leaked

It has been a while since any new character has joined the Standard banner in Genshin Impact. However, recent leaks seem to suggest that that might change soon. According to leaks from Flying Flame, upcoming character Mizuki might be added to the Standard banner.

In Genshin Impact, the Standard Banner is a permanent banner that features a fixed set of characters and weapons. Currently, there are a total of seven 5-star characters featured on the Standard banner. If this recent leak regarding Mizuki's addition to the Standard banner turns out to be true, then the total number of featured 5-star characters on the Standard banner will move up to eight.

New Genshin Impact leak hints at Mizuki being a Standard banner character

Mizuki will join the Standard Banner byu/Nebula707 inGenshin_Impact_Leaks

According to leaker Flying Flame, Mizuki will be joining the Genshin Impact Standard banner at some point in the future. Mizuki is an upcoming character in Genshin Impact, who is supposed to be featured on the version 5.4 banner, as per leaks.

Previously, another leaker named Full Stop Chan had also brought up Mizuki's addition to the Standard Banner. Now with yet another leaker hinting at the same, this leak has a high chance of turning out to be true. Furthermore, both Full Stop Chan and Flying Flame are well-known leakers with a credible track record, thus further increasing the chances of this leak proving to be true.

As per leaks from leakers X1 and Seele Leaks, Mizuki will be a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst. Information regarding Mizuki's kit and constellations, as well as her weapon, have also been disclosed by Seele Leaks. As hinted at via these leaks, Mizuki is likely to play the role of an on-field Anemo driver, buffer, and/or sub-DPS.

Another leak from Seele Leaks mentions that Mizuki will supposedly have a pink and purple palette and a tail that resembles that of a mouse. The information regarding Mizuki's supposed tail seems to match that of the speculated Mizuki silhouette, who is amongst the upcoming characters revealed by the developers in the Genshin Impact 5.3 livestream.

During the version 5.3 livestream, the developers released a roadmap of all upcoming Genshin Impact content for the next six months, including the upcoming playable characters. While information regarding Mizuki's appearance is still not available, the leak hinting at her having a mouse tail seems to match the silhouette of the third character from the right.

The playerbase had been speculating that this character might be Mizuki, which could now actually turn out to be true.
