With Dragon Ball Xenoverse set to launch in February next year, Bandai Namco is revealing the features that the game will have to offer as the release draws nearer. This time they have revealed that there will be new playable characters in the Xenoverse.
In a latest issue of V-Jump magazine in Japan, Bandai Namco has confirmed Beerus and Whis will be playable characters in the game. For those of you who are unfamiliar with who these two characters are, they appeared in the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods movie.
“Jaco the galactic patrolman” will also appear in the game as a playable character. He has only appeared in mangas which are set before the events of Toriyama’s “Dragon Ball” saga so not many players will know the character. The character will be available via download code. Master Roshi will also appear in the game as a character customization model and can be obtained via download code as well. Though it is still unknown if these two characters will be available outside of Japan.
Lastly V-jump has also confirmed that Ape version of Vegeta will also be included in the game as a boss. The large Ape Vegeta appeared in the Saiyan Saga so players will now have to battle Vegeta in his Ape form as well. Remember to aim for his long tail as that is his weakness.
V-jump has promised to reveal more on that game in its next issue. Dragon Ball Xenoverse will release on February 17th, 2015. The game is up for pre-order on steam for PC users.
