The Argentine defender can be seen standing still with his arms out wide as the Japanese side get set to take a corner. The attack then fizzles out as the ball goes out of play and a goal kick is awarded to City.
Hoping that Otamendi will awaken from his slumber, the keeper plays a short pass to the Argentine but there is no reaction from him. The Kobe striker easily takes the ball, goes past the static defender and puts the ball into the back of the net, much to our bewilderment.
While the glitch featuring the City star is a once in a blue moon moment, EA will surely look to ensure these are not repeated in the final version of the game.
