'Warhammer 40K: Regicide' will be releasing on Steam Early Access

Warhammer 40K: Regicide is the latest upcoming entry in the popular Warhammer series. The game will be developed by Hammerfall publications and is set in the same universe as Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40K products. It will also feature the famous lore and strategic elements which make the game what it is.

Here are a few features which the developers have teased about:

• Players can engage the Regicide mode and experience new gameplay dynamics against Hammerfall Studio’s mighty Codex Artificial Intelligence Engine in the single player mode and battle against online opponents across the globe in multi-player modes.

• Once your blades are blooded, classic mode features hundreds of dynamic kill and death animations between detailed characters in incredible environments. This is presented in straight-up Warhammer 40,000 combat strategy with two playable races: the iconic Space Marines and brutal Orks.
• Challenge human opponents across the globe in multi-player or challenge the AI.

Warhammer 40K: Regicide will be releasing on Early Access for the PC sometime in the coming weeks, though Hammerfall has not given an exact date. The Early access version is priced at $14.99, but hardcore fans can also pre-order a range of Limited Edition Game Bundles from the game’s official store. These bundles will include a key for the game as well several other collectable such has posters, hoodies, shirts and a Collector’s Edition certificate.
