Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 Error Code 4: Possible fixes and reasons

Many of the Emperor's chosen have been running into the Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 Error Code 4 off late. It would seem that the Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 Error Code 4 may have something do to with your ISP. Many have stated after switching to mobile data, they were able to access the online modes in Space Marine 2.

Others also mention that they were granted access to the online mode for a brief moment, but were denied it after a while. As such, the problem could be technical settings that have to be changed by your ISP.

Others in the forums have stated that turning off your VPN could solve the Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 Error Code 4. VPN does interfere with a few online games, and as such, turning it off is worth a try.

Wait for an official fix

Based on the roadmap that was shared for Space Marine 2, sometime this month (September 2024), an update will be released. This will address a few known issues. It will also provide an ultrawide fix and support for the same in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2.

Likely, the Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 Error Code 4 will be addressed at this time as well. Until then, you may have to fight off the many enemies in Space Marine 2 in offline mode.
