HoYoverse, the company behind the massively popular open-world gacha title Genshin Impact, is looking forward to growing its gaming portfolio. The studio has delivered quite a few mainstream hits that have accrued a gigantic fanbase worldwide as well as massive success when it comes to revenue. Now, according to leaks, it is reportedly working on a new simulation game.
Recent reports from the South China Morning Post suggest that China has approved a total of 105 games in July, and HoYoverse's Xingbu Gudi, roughly translating to "Star Valley," is one of them. A month before that, the company filed trademarks for "Astaweave Haven" and "Hoshimi Haven" in Japan, leading many to wonder if this will be the name for the Genshin Impact developer's upcoming title.

The game has been approved for PC and mobile devices, and online speculations hint that it will depart from the F2P gacha model, and will be available for purchase in digital storefronts similar to Hypergryph's Ex Astris. This will be likely the case as it will be quite challenging to follow a F2P gacha system for a life-simulation title.
A rumored "gameplay leak" is also available that showcases what players can expect from Genshin Impact's developer. The gameplay showcased is very rudimentary and highlights the core features of the title, which consist of farming, gardening, fishing, etc., similar to what you can get in Animal Crossing.
It will be surprising if HoYoverse somehow is able to mold Astaweave Haven into the F2P gacha model, but the game will likely come with a price tag, with a paid/free DLC-like system similar to many other live-service titles. The team behind Genshin Impact is yet to confirm the details, but we will likely hear from them soon.
