Helljumpers in Halo Infinite: Everything we know

Helljumpers in Halo Infinite aims to replicate the Helldivers 2 experience with the feature set of Halo. The mod was created by The Forge Falcons, who previously dropped successful mods for the game including a Battle Royale mode, a Round-based Zombies mode, and more.

Halo being a first-person game at its core, Helljumpers will allow players to drop in both first-person and third-person perspectives, giving them the option to enjoy the mode how they want to. This is a different design decision than Helldivers 2, which is only limited to the third-person perspective. However, the core objective of the game mode will remain the same as it only aims to recreate the Helldivers experience in the Halo universe.

Players must team up and drop into a large map riddled with various types of enemies that they must defeat and earn points, all the while completing a variety of linear missions. So essentially, the overall gameplay and objective design of Helldivers 2 will not see much change with this mod.

The Forge Falcons, the developers of the mod, initially announced the project back in June 2024, and now they are finally ready for a launch in the coming days. Helljumpers in Halo Infinite is scheduled for release on October 25, 2024. The mod was initially supposed to launch on June 28, 2024. However, they did mention that the initial release date was subject to change if their internal tests didn't go well.
