After Overtime Mode, Infinity Mode is the second unlockable mode in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. It can be unlocked by finishing the game in 72-Hour Mode and Overtime Mode.

In this mode, you need to survive the Willamette Mall for a set amount of time by eating food and defeating multiple waves of Zombies, Survivors, and Psychopaths. Frank’s health will continue to decrease over time, so you need to find food around the mall to maintain it, all while avoiding Zombies and Psychopaths.

Moreover, shops don’t offer an infinite supply of food in this game mode, meaning there’s only a limited food supply for you to get by. That said, you can still obtain more food and healing supplies by killing various enemies that spawn throughout the map.

The remaster also brings some quality-of-life changes over the original. For example, you can now save your progress and quit the Infinity Mode run at any time. This is a major improvement over the original, as the latter must be completed in one sitting. Frank can now also access his watch and camera to keep up with how much time is left before the run is complete.

Infinity Mode adds a brand-new layer of difficulty and things can get overwhelmingly challenging if you’re not prepared. To help you complete it, here are some tips:

  • Level up Frank to Level 50.
  • Complete the Zombie Annihilator Challenge and unlock the Real Mega Buster weapon.
  • Look for all Food Books in Willamette Mall to increase your healing capacity from consuming food.
  • Locate some reliable and easy-to-find weapons like the Katana, Submachine Gun, or Mannequin Torso.
  • Stockpile on food and other healing items.
  • Put items like Raw Meat and Uncooked Pizza in an oven as soon as possible to maximize the healing effect.
  • Prioritize consuming lower-quality healing items first.
  • Locate Psychopaths and Survivors to obtain healing items and weapons.
  • Maintain distance in fights and step back whenever necessary.

By following these tips, you will have a higher chance of completing the Infinity Mode. Upon completion, the game rewards you with two items: the Laser Sword and Ghost & Goblin Underwear.

The Laser Sword is one of the best melee weapons in the game, while the Ghost & Goblins Underwear is a cosmetic item that Frank can equip.
