The recently released remastered version of the 2006 zombie game Dead Rising is proving to be a resounding success. The story is set in the fictional city of Willamette, Colorado, where you need to rescue several survivors, who are trapped inside a shopping mall. The mall has been run over by zombies, and you are forced to use any weapon you can find to mow down the hordes.

While the main story of the game will take anywhere between 6 - 9 hours to complete, the developers have put in an additional mode, called the Overtime mode, to increase playtime. This article will tell you how to unlock the Overtime mode in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.

You first need to finish the main '72-hour' campaign to unlock the Overtime mode in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. The main story takes place within a span of three in-game days, which is equivalent to around six hours in real life. Once you finish playing through the story, you will gain access to the Overtime mode, providing you with another 3 hours of gameplay (24 hours of in-game time).

Upon finishing the story, go talk to Isabela before proceeding to the helipad above the Security room at 12 pm. Wait for Ed to pick you up from the helipad, which will be followed by a cutscene. Once you are done enjoying the short cutscene, you be dropped straight into the Overtime mode.

After completing the main story, which takes place within three in-game days, you will proceed to the Overtime mode. The Overtime mode lasts for another whole in-game day, which is equivalent to three additional hours of gameplay.

Once you beat the Overtime mode successfully, you will stumble upon the Infinity mode. This will give you all the freedom you want since there is no time restraint. In fact, if you want to earn all the achievements and trophies in this mode, it will take you a good 25 to 35 hours to complete Dead Rising Deluxe Remastered.
