Fans rejoice, a physical Alan Wake 2 Collector Edition is coming soon. Available through Limited Run Games, the special edition was unveiled during Summer Game Fest, before the announcement that the DLC was coming the very next day. It’s an exciting moment for fans of the franchise without a doubt.

However, if you don’t know the cost, contents, or where to pre-order the Alan Wake 2 Collector Edition, wonder no more. While it will only be available for a limited time, here’s everything you need to know from the Summer Game Fest reveal.

Alan Wake 2 Collector Edition available to pre-order for a limited time

Two versions of the Alan Wake 2 Collector Edition will be available: the Physical Deluxe Edition and the Collector’s Edition. The game is only available to pre-order from June 8, 2024, to July 21, 2024, so there’s only a six-week window. Both versions are physical editions, but the Collector’s Edition comes with far more goodies than the Deluxe. The Deluxe Edition runs for $79.99 and will be available on October 22, 2024. Here’s what it comes with:

• Physical copy of the game
• Reversible Cover Sleeve
• Digital Deluxe In-Game Content: Nordic Shotgun Skin, Crimson Windbreaker, and Lantern Charm (Saga Anderson) | Parliament Shotgun Skin and Celebrity Suit (Alan Wake)
• Alan Wake Remastered (Digital code)
• Expansion Pass: Both DLCs (The Lake House, Night Springs)

The Deluxe Edition can be pre-ordered at most retailers (EG: Best Buy), but the Collector's Edition can only be pre-ordered with Limited Run Games.

However, the bigger version of the game, the Alan Wake 2 Collector Edition, runs for $199.99 and contains a wealth of items, including everything that comes with the Deluxe Edition. While Limited Run games didn’t give a release date, it will be “after the Deluxe Edition”:

• Angel Lamp (does light up)
• Enamel Pin Set
• Art Book - over 160 pages of content, including character/environment concepts

Fans won’t have to wait for the Night Springs DLC if they already own the game. Provided they have access, it unlocks on June 8, 2024. Based on the in-universe show of the same name, it also brings together two characters: The Number One Fan (based on Rose Marigold) and The Actor (based on Sheriff Timothy Breaker/actor Shawn Ashmore).
