Spectre Divide, a 3v3 tactical shooter by Mountaintop Studios, has an interesting mechanic that lets players control two bodies at once and the gripping visuals of the game have everyone engaged. To make things even more interesting, the game has introduced Crews — a concept similar to clans in some games where a massive group of players battles another similarly sized group.

A Spectre Divide Crew is a team of 50-60 players who battle each other to score more points and find a higher place on the leaderboard. This article will explain how this works.

Spectre Divide was released on September 3, 2024. The game had raked up quite a fanbase thanks to the gaming icon Shroud's association. Every Spectre Divide Crew can have as many as 60 players in it. Each members battle against each other in weekly competitions and points are scored simply by playing matches.

Once a player completes their third game, they're automatically recruited into a Spectre Divide Crew. Apart from engaging players' competitive spirit, Crews are also great places to make new friends and find yourself a social system as they have a private Crew chat and a list of all the members involved. So you can find your crowd inside the game and even make friends to play regularly with.

Crews and points

Furthermore, every Spectre Divide Crew has its own Spotlight Hour and a favored map. This map is called the Crew's Home Turf. So matches that get completed during the Spotlight Hour or on the Home Turf get a bonus in terms of the points scored.

In Spectre Divide, you earn Crew Points for playing the game. After the completion of each match, you can see the overall breakdown of points and the contributions you've made to the Crew within that particular week.

You can up the ante by scoring as many points as possible thereby increasing your contributions to your Crew. This can be done by winning matches, queuing for Competitive, and playing with friends or your crewmates.

You can earn anywhere between 8-23 points for playing the game with the tasks mentioned above getting more points than anything else.

Player points

Your overall player points contribute to the leaderboard ranking of your Spectre Divide Crew. Your highest scores of a week will fill your Player Score Slots which range from five to eight depending on your Crew division.

Wildcard Slots are another way for you to contribute. The highest player points that are not being utilized in the Player Score Slots get used in the Wildcard Slots. One player can contribute to about 15 of these slots and once a Crew's slots are full, higher scores replace the most recent lowest score. The number of these Wildcard Slots ranges from 160 to 200.

Leagues and rewards

In total, there are seven Divisions. A Crew starts out at the Challenger Division and climbs up towards the top of the Championship Division. Players also receive rewards for contributing to their Crews. At the end of each season, one can receive a gun charm as well as a spray based on the Crew Division they ended up in. However, not every Division may get the spray.
