What will happen at the end of Season 21 in Apex Legends?
The developers have a massive amount of new gameplay and cosmetics planned for Season 22. The new patch will arrive once Season 21 ends on August 6, 2024. All ranks will be reset after the start of the new update and the E-District map will arrive for the community to experience.

The game is also slated to receive a set of Battle Pass changes. This is one of the most major changes in the update as there will be two separate seasonal passes for each ranked split. The new battle pass will feature refreshed rewards to help the player base increase their cosmetic collection.
The first Season 22 Split 1 Battle Pass will be free for everyone to claim without requiring any additional purchases. Players can simply claim the seasonal pass by logging into the game when the new season begins. However, this is only valid for the first battle pass, which would end with the first split.
A set of quality-of-life changes alongside character changes will also be ingrained in the new patch. The complete removal of aim flinch and a 25% nerf to the aim assist strength in PC lobbies is another major change. All of these upcoming features can potentially create a balanced playing field for the Mouse and Keyboard input users.
