All potential changes coming with Apex Legends Season 23 Split 2

We expect quite a few major changes to be a part of the upcoming mid-season update for Apex Legends. With the debut of Season 23, the developers had issued numerous buffs to the Support class characters in the game. This was done to improve their space within the title's ongoing meta.

Unfortunately, rather than balancing out the character balance in-game, it skyrocketed support characters' pick rate and made them extremely overpowered during Apex Legends Season 23 Split 1.

First and foremost, we expect the developers to push out a balance patch to tune down the overpowered nature of support class characters, such as Gibraltar, Lifeline, Newcastle, and others.

Moving forward, we believe that new weapon balancing changes will be implemented as the Apex Legends Season 23 Split 1 ends. The ongoing split has been dominated by the Mastiff shotgun, and it needs a little bit of fine-tuning to fit in with weapons from other classes.

On the other hand, underpowered weapons, such as the SMGs might get buffed to balance out the weapon meta in the game.

Last but not least, a new split means that players will get their hands on a brand-new battle pass in the game. Like the ongoing battle pass, players can expect a reactive legendary skin for the Mozambique shotgun and a ton of other in-game collectible cosmetics and items.
