When does Dragon Ball Sparking Zero early access start?

Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO will be launched globally on October 10, 2024, and upon release will act as a “ground zero” for the franchise. Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO will be available in early access on October 7, 2024, and will only be eligible for players who pre-order the Deluxe and Ultimate editions. The game will be available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in three versions: the Standard edition, Deluxe edition, and the Ultimate edition, more on which you can read by clicking here.

Players must pre-order the game to enjoy the benefits of trying it early. This includes many iconic characters from across the vast Budokai Tenkaichi series, with the Deluxe and Ultimate editions also receiving benefits such as the season pass being included, along with a whole host of other content.

Why players should consider Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO is set to be the fourth entry into the Budokai Tenkaichi series, with its last entry being 2007’s Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which was released only on the PS2 and Wii. The game will feature over 180 fighters across Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball GT, and some movies in the franchise.

The title will also mark the first time the term “Sparking!” is used internationally in the title, given the term is the Japanese name for the series and has previously only been used domestically. The game features single-player and multiplayer modes, allowing fans to recreate their favorite fights from the franchise at their convenience.
