When does inZoi Early Access launch? Release date and platforms explored

inZoi is the upcoming ambitious Sims-like life simulation game from Krafton. After months of anticipation, the publisher has confirmed that the game will launch in early access on March 28, 2025. This means that it will be an early in-development build of the game. The developer will take consumer feedback and shape the game's direction based on that.

This is good news as it allows the developer to gauge which mechanics work and what is popular, while fans can get to play the game "early". That said, no final release date for the game has been confirmed yet.

For its early access period, the upcoming life simulation game will only be available on PC. As such, console players on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms will be missing out. On the flip side, inZoi is confirmed to launch on those two consoles even though no release date has been given yet.

It is safe to assume that Krafton will move on to the console versions once the PC version is complete and in its final 1.0 state. How long that takes remains to be seen. There is no word on a Nintendo Switch version either and if the game even gets announced for the red team, it will realistically be on the next-gen Nintendo Switch 2 console.

It is an ambitious life sim game that aims to provide the most immersive and realistic experience on the market yet, trumping the genre behemoth that is EA's The Sims franchise. It is marketed as a playground where players can live the life they want, however they want.

While this does sound overambitious on paper, the developer seems to be confident about tackling the challenge as the game boasts many impressive mechanics. For one, it features an in-depth character customizer that allows the creation of realistic characters called Zoi with customizable gender, sexuality, personality, and more.

With a variety of maps to choose from that are based on major countries around the real world, players can create the house they have always wanted thanks to the power of Unreal Engine 5.

Players' Zoi can engage in a countless number of activities, from working jobs, gossiping, traveling, and more, to taking care of kids — and yes, the game also features children to raise, including an age system where characters can grow old.
