As mentioned earlier, the wipe will hit the game alongside the implementation of patch 0.16, which was also referred to as the New Year’s “Winter” patch by Nikita Buyanov, the title’s game director during the previous TarkovTV live broadcast.

Additionally, the devs released a roadmap on X, which showcased their plans until the end of the year, 2024. In that post, patch 0.16 was included, meaning it will be released before the forthcoming year, 2025.

Taking every bit of information into consideration, the upcoming wipe will likely hit the game in the last week of December 2024, potentially on December 29, 30, or 31. However, readers are advised to take the speculated release window with a grain of salt since BSG has not officially confirmed the date. Additionally, if any issues arise, the patch could be delayed until January.
