What to expect from Apex Legends Season 23

A full seasonal reset with the latest Apex Legends update can be expected. You will see a rank reset on your account, and as such, you will have to queue up for placement matches to determine your in-game ranks.

Developers at EA and Respawn Entertainment might implement major changes to certain Legends and weapons in the game. The ongoing meta, which is dominated by burst weapons such as the Hemlok and the Nemesis, might be tweaked with the upcoming season.

Furthermore, the meta Legends for Season 22, such as Revenant, Pathfinder, and even Horizon should receive minor reworks to their kit.

Revenant, especially, has been a consistent pick for players across all ranks due to his oppressive abilities. We expect the developers to incorporate some changes to balance him in tune with other characters. His presence has overshadowed the capabilities of other Legends in Apex Legends.

Lastly, numerous leaks from data miner HYPERMYSTx claim that newer Heirloom recolors are in development. With the debut of Season 23, fans can expect a recolored version of Bloodhound's Raven's Bite to surface. The data miner has also claimed that the upcoming Battle Pass reactive will be for the Mozambique shotgun.
