Whether you've played Resident Evil 4 before or not, there are various puzzles to solve, none more enticing than the Blue Medallion challenge found early in the Village and Cemetary. The Blue Medallions are an element of a minigame within Resident Evil 4's main game and it rewards the player which makes it worth the effort.

What are Blue Medallions in Resident Evil 4?

The Blue Medallions were allegedly left by the Merchant with a message that gives players the locations of the medallions and also reveals that a prize will be given to those who manage to destroy them. You first notice this assignment when you find a message pinned to a tree in the farm, just below a blue medallion. Following this, as soon as you reach the Merchant, he inquires as to whether you have seen the Blue Medallions.

The locations will be marked on the player's map by small blue dots after the message is picked up. According to the note under the first medallion, there are seven medals in the farm and eight in the cemetery. Where can the Blue Medallions be found?

There are 15 Blue Medallions hidden throughout the game, including the Farm and the Graveyard. To find all Blue Medallions in Resident Evil 4, players must first look around there for blue circle objects dangling from buildings and trees. When a Blue Medallion is discovered, simply whip out your weapon and shoot it to receive it.

  • Blue Medallion #11: The Graveyard - Hanging behind the church, to the left of the church entry.

  • Blue Medallion #12: The Graveyard - Hanging off the rim of a roof near the pedestal puzzle behind the church.

  • Blue Medallion #13: The Graveyard - Hanging under the bridge at the edge of the first gap.

  • Blue Medallion #14: The Graveyard - Just before the second gap, hang from a suspension post.

  • Blue Medallion #15: The Graveyard - Hanging underneath the bridge after the second gap.

What are Blue Medallions traded for?

As the player arrives at the Merchant, he asks if you've seen the Blue Medallions and says that if you shoot ten of them, he'll offer you a specialized handgun (The Punisher (FN Five-seven) Pistol). For those who shoot all fifteen, he will grant you a free firepower upgrade for the gun.

The Punisher is a firearm that may be purchased or obtained by completing a sidequest. The capacity to penetrate targets is its most noticeable characteristic. The Punisher has more piercing power than the Handgun and can pierce two Ganados in a line or a Ganado wielding a shield.
