Where to find Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are a variety of resources that can be used to build furniture in Disney Dreamlight Valley. While some are rare to find, others, like Citrine, are a bit easier to locate. Citrine is a type of gem used for crafting. Like every other jewel in the game, it has a regular and shiny version, with the second variant being harder to come by and selling for a higher price.

How to acquire Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To get Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must first obtain the Pickaxe. This tool can be unlocked by finishing the "Royal Tools" mission.

Once you get the Pickaxe, look for rock piles with Citrine (orange color) sticking out of them and destroy them to acquire the gem. Note that you won't get this resource every time you destroy rock piles.

Now that you know the process of acquiring the Pickaxe and mining for Citrine, it's time to find the location of the precious gem.

Citrine can be found in the Sunlit Plateau and Glade of Trust biomes, which can be unlocked by spending 7,000 and 5,000 Dreamlight, respectively. Note that a few sections in these biomes will block you from mining the resource.

You can clear such areas in Sunlit Plateau by finishing the "Circle of Life" quest, which can be activated by achieving Level 7 friendship with Scar. This quest will grant you the ability to create a Roaring Shovel Head, which can be used to remove the bones hindering exploration.

Similar areas in Glade of Trust can be cleared by finishing the "A Dark Experiment" quest provided by Merlin, which will activate after achieving Level 8 friendship with him.

After you have acquired Citrine from Glade of Trust and Sunlit Plateau, it's time to put the gem to good use.

Citrine is mostly requested by characters during Friendship Quests. It can also be used at the Crafting Table to construct furniture, such as Orange Light and Round Lamppost.

You can sell regular Citrine for 380 Star Coins and the shiny one for 1,500 Star Coins.
