Spot the North-Facing Mountain

The flare gun is located in the cockpit of the crashed plane, nestled in the snowy biome on the north side of the map. To start your journey, ensure you can spot the north-facing mountain — it’s the key landmark for navigating this area. One ideal starting point is just northwest of the massive sinkhole.

From this location, head across the natural dam, which acts as a direct pathway to the snow-covered terrain. Once you reach the Snowy Biome, continue trekking straight toward the mountain’s base.

When you’re at the foot of the mountain, turn to your right. You’ll notice a climbable section leading further into the snow. Scale this small incline and keep heading right, sticking close to the mountain’s edge.

As you progress, look out for the wreckage of the plane’s cockpit — this is your ultimate destination. The bright orange and white colors of the cockpit should make it easy to spot, even in the snow.

Once inside the cockpit, you’ll find the flare gun lying on one of the seats. It’s hard to miss due to its vibrant color. Alongside the weapon, you’ll also receive five flares, which can be used immediately or converted into gun ammo.
