Where to find Topaz in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are over 30 Gemstones you can collect in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You can use them for crafting furniture, sell them at Goofy’s Stall, or gift them to various Disney characters. Topaz is perhaps one of the most important Gemstones you will come across during your playthrough. Not only is this gem required for crafting furnishing items, but you will also need it for completing several main quests in the game.

How to find Topaz in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You can find Topaz, or a rarer Shiny Topaz, by mining rock deposits with a pickaxe in the Plaza area. Thankfully, this is the very place you begin your journey, so you don’t need to worry about collecting Dreamlight and unlocking new biomes to locate this precious gem.

In the Plaza, there are six rock deposits located at the east and west edges of the map that have a chance to drop Topaz. While any of them can drop Topaz, only the deposits with yellow rocks sticking out of them can give you a guaranteed drop.

Additionally, if you have purchased the “A Rift in Time” expansion, you can also find Topaz around the Ancient Landing biome. There are nine deposits in the biome where you can locate this gemstone, most of which are located near the walls of the Courtyard and Docks area.

How to use Topaz in Disney Dreamlight Valley

1) Selling

Regular Topaz can be sold at any of the Goofy's Stalls for 240 Star Coins each, while a Shiny Topaz can sell for as high as 960 Star Coins. A Shiny Topaz is a lot more difficult to come by, so it'll take you some grinding to find one.

2) Quests

Many characters will request you to mine a certain quantity of this gemstone to progress further in the story. Here’s a list of all quests that require Topaz in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

1. A Daily Regime quest by Mulan requires you to collect 3 Topaz.
2. You have to deliver 5 Topaz to Mushu in the A Reminder in Stone quest.
3. You need 5 Topaz to craft 5 Park Banner Lampposts in the Decorate More! Quest.
4. In the Hakuna Matata quest, you can trade 3 Topaz to receive Relaxing Oasis.
5. You need 3 Topaz to craft the Wonderland Amplification Elixir in the You Have Mail! Quest.
