The "Almighty Dragonlord" K'uhul Ajaw, or simply known as Ajaw, was revealed during the Genshin Impact Ignition teaser. The same also showcased plenty of other Natlan characters, along with Il Capitano and a major annual tournament. While almost every character looked as expected of HoYoverse's brilliant art team, Ajaw has caught the attention of many thanks to his pixelated design and overall mystery surrounding him.

New leaks have now emerged with regards to Ajaw's backstory and his role in Genshin Impact.

Recent Genshin Impact leaks from notable source SeeleLeaks have given the community some potential insight into Ajaw. He is rumored to be a companion of Kinich, the male character featured alongside Ajaw in the teaser. They are speculated to have a similar relationship like Guoba and Xiangling, with Ajaw being able to talk unlike Guoba.

Another interesing tidbit from leaker Team Mew refers to Ajaw possibly having knowledge of the heavily leaked Natlan character, Xbalanque, and holding a certain amount of respect for him. This could potentially explain the reasons behind Ajaw's self proclaimed title as the "Almighty Dragonlord."

From these leaks, we can possibly take away the fact that Kinich and Ajaw are fairly important characters in Natlan's lore and may play a big role in the Archon Quest. However, all of this is merely speculation and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Ajaw voice actors and potential drip-marketing release date for Genshin Impact

Ajaw's voice actors were revealed soon after the Ignition teaser's release. Here are all of them in the various language packs:

• English: Abby Espiritu
• Japanese: Junko Takeuchi
• Korean: Park Ri-na
• Chinese: Mi Yang

Junko Takeuchi is easily the most popular voice actor from this list. Her most famous voice acting role is the iconic anime character Naruto Uzumaki from the Naruto franchise.

The three characters shown in the first teaser, Mualani, Kachina, and Kinich, are expected to be released in v5.0. If we are to go off of HoYoverse's usual release pattern for drip marketing, we can expect these characters' drip marketing on July 15. Since Ajaw is a part of Kinich's character, he could also be featured with the latter's drip marketing.
