Susurrus is the final boss in Square Enix’s game Forspoken.
The magical object known as the Cuff, which Frey wears throughout the game, is actually called Susurrus. The Rheddig, who is the cause of Athia's corruption, called forth the ancient demon Susurrus.
Athia's matriarchs split Susurrus and sealed him into four cuffs that each of the Tantas wore, despite the demon's powers. Nonetheless, the Cuffs corrupted the matriarchs and later acted as Frey's ally in an attempt to use her to release her powers.
How to defeat the final boss Susurrus in Forspoken?
Like most RPG battles, the final encounter with Susurrus is split into three distinct stages, or phases.
First Phase
First, Tanta Cinta, Frey's mother, would help her out in the dragon form. She just needs to go after the red crosses that show up on the screen.
Throughout the fight, Susurrus would briefly manifest as a visible form, and any attacks made during that time would deal a lot of damage.
This final battle will move on to the next phase when the main boss's health is depleted.
Second Phase
During this phase as well, he will continue to have the same form as he did in the first. Cinta will die. However, Frey would inherit her mother's abilities, strengthening her.
Now, in order to defend himself, Frey would have to continue attacking the final boss while he summons a horde of minor foes.
The fight will become more difficult when his health drops to 50% and he splits into three separate bodies that attack from different angles.
The horde and the three bodies would make this phase the most difficult, but players can use the Skip ability to avoid attacks.
Three Phase
In this final phase, Susurrus would change into a humanoid form, increasing his agility and danger. Players must keep their distance and attack cautiously as a result.
Since fire-elemental magic deals the most damage and is amplified by Cinta's boost, the players must use Red Magic to defeat the main boss.
Frey had to alternate between using her Red and Blue magic all the time to defend against some of Susurrus's attacks.
The game will instruct players to use Frey's Green magic after dealing significant damage to Susurrus, resulting in the action-packed battle's climax.
Finally, Frey only needs to use her Purple magic to defeat this terrifying demon.
In order to avoid being struck by Susurrus during these three stages, players must keep moving and be cautious at all times. Due to the fact that Frey could sustain significant damage from the main boss's attacks.
What happens after defeating Susurrus in Forspoken?
A lengthy cutscene and the game's epilogue will appear after defeating the main antagonist. After that, the players would enter Chapter 13, which would have a lot of extra content, including side quests and challenging bosses.
However, according to reports, the aforementioned Chapter 13 is not really a chapter and is just wandering around, discovering the Forspoken universe. The game only has 12 chapters, but "Chapter 13" collects all of the exploration and detours, and thus the term is deliberately used.
Who are Frey Holland’s parents in Forspoken?

The Tantas had to contend with Susurrus, a demon sent by Rheddas, not long after the Athians defeated Rheddas in a battle known as the Purge of the Rheddig. The Rheddig soldiers discovered a way to free the demon, whom they believed to be imprisoned inside the locked labyrinths of Athia. Susurrus started the Break, and even though the Tantas sealed him into four wearable cuffs, the damage had already been done, and the resulting seal had driven the Tantas insane.
Cinta flung open a torana to New York and sent Frey through it to safety before her mind completely collapsed. Cinta was unfortunately too slow to stop Susurrus from using a portion of his power to force himself through the torana with Frey while he was imprisoned inside a cuff on Cinta's arm. Cinta changed into the dragon that Frey would later encounter on her first day in Athia.
