Exploring Mo Deen's controversial career and rise to fame
Mo Deen found himself in the limelight for the first time on July 2, 2019, after a video showcasing him encountering WWE star John Cena went viral. In the video, he goes up to John in a store, after which John can be seen chiding the YouTuber for recording him without his permission.
Even though he initially apologizes, he continues recording and comes up to John again when he is about to leave the store. Mohammad states that he has "some advice" for John. To this, John replies that he has some advice for Mo Deen, which is to "be respectful":
"Be more respectful, that's my advice for you, and ask if you would take a video, but you're just shooting video. I don't wanna talk to you."
Mohammad received significant criticism from netizens for his behavior in the video. However, it was his first real breakout video as it went viral.
Thereafter, he developed a pattern of filming himself, often recording celebrities he would come across and uploading them on YouTube. In fact, he met John Cena again, seemingly in a hotel elevator. This time, Mo Deen told John that he had made John famous, to which John calmly replied, "Thanks."
Mo Deen has since had encounters with other celebrities as well, including professional British former heavyweight boxer Amir Khan.
Another video from July 18, 2019, shows Mo Deen chasing and meeting Sidemen members, including Olajide "KSI" and Harry "W2S". This time around, the community responded positively to the video, as it was filmed in a public space and showcased a hilarious back-and-forth between KSI and Mo Deen about the former's upcoming second boxing bout with Logan Paul at the time.
In 2023, Mohammad started uploading more regularly on YouTube as well as Kick and started collaborating with big names such as Keemstar, Sam Pepper, and FouseyTube. He has become popular due to his unpredictable and unruly behavior, as often showcased in the vlogs he uploads.
Most recently, on January 12, 2024, a hilarious encounter ensued between the Island Boys and Mohammad as they faced off against each other in a gym. As the Island Boys entered the gym with their entourage to fight N3on, Mohammad started egging the hip-hop duo on as Rangesh watched on, confused from the side.
Mohammad could be seen doing a stare-down with one of the Island Boys brothers before being separated. Mohammad immediately protested:
"Ay bro, bro, bro, bro! Why you pushin' man? Where's my security, bro?"
To which N3on replies:
"You don't have security, dude!"
Island Boys recently started streaming on Kick. As is typically done for new joiners on Kick, a photo of the duo was uploaded by the Kick official account on X, but the photo uploaded for the Island Boys showed them kissing, an act they're notorious for. Kick put a subsequent post, stating that their social media manager had been "fired" for the photo.
