In a surprising turn of events, Forza Horizon 4 is set to be delisted from digital storefronts across Xbox (including Xbox Game Pass) and PC platforms (via Microsoft Store and Steam) on December 15, 2024. This change affects the Festival Playlists and how they will be handled in the future, as confirmed on the official Forza Horizon social media account.
Simply put, players can no longer buy the game or its contents past that date. Meanwhile, those who own the game can access it and its features without nay hassle.

Microsoft has taken things in this direction due to licensing issues with partners. Besides the delisting, it has also been confirmed that Series 77 will be the final Festival Playlist in the game; it will begin on July 25 and end on August 22, 2024. After this date, players can't access the Festival Playlist screen and instead will be met with the Festival Site screen.
Furthermore, players will be unable to earn the following Series 77 Festival Playlist achievements in Forza Horizon 4:
- A Creature of Habit (15 Points): Complete all Seasonal Championships in a Festival Playlist Series
- Stunt Puller (15 Points): Complete all Seasonal PR Stunts in a Festival Playlist Series
- Cashing In (20 Points): Earn 1 Season Completion Bonus
- Perfectionist (30 Points): Earn all 8 Season Completion Bonuses in the same Series
- Encore (50 Points): Complete all activities in a single Festival Playlist Series
While there will be no future Festivals, players can still look forward to new challenges and events to complete. Wrapping up these challenges will net players Forzathon Points which can be exchanged for Backstage Passes. Speaking of which, the Backstage Pass Cars list will also see the addition of all previous cars that have been Festival Playlist exclusive post Series 77.
The publisher has already delisted Forza Horizon 4 DLC from the storefronts - so while players could buy extra content individually before, it is no longer possible. Instead, only the Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate editions are purchasable.
