The football gaming world is looking forward to the release of EA FC 25. The game will bring plenty of new changes and is set to feature some Konami-partnered clubs like Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Arsenal. These teams will still feature in the title due to their respective leagues' multi-year extension deals with EA Sports.
These football clubs have millions of fans, so featuring them in the EA FC 24 successor despite their license with Konami will only help EA Sports retain their massive userbase.
Which clubs are unlicensed from EA FC 25?
Licensing plays a pivotal role in both football and gaming. EA Sports has acquired many licenses for popular teams and football leagues around the world. They are available in the developer's PC and mobile games (EA FC Mobile).

Konami has also acquired a number of licenses. The company recently released a list of clubs, stadiums, and football leagues that will be exclusively available in its game - eFootball.
Among them, Italy's Serie A will be a major omission in EA FC 25. The Italian top flight has some of the most historic clubs in football, but EA's upcoming game will feature none of them in their original form. Fans of Internazionale Milano, AC Milan, SS Lazio, SSC Napoli, and AS Roma will have to make do with substitutes like Milano FC or Roma FC instead.
However, popular clubs like Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Arsenal will feature in the upcoming game in their authentic form due to the licenses of Bundesliga, La Liga, and Premier League being retained by EA Sports.
Why Allianz Arena and Camp Nou won't feature in EA FC 25
The Allianz Arena and Camp Nou are two of the biggest football stadiums in the world. While the Allianz Arena is the home of Bayern Munich, Camp Nou hosts matches for FC Barcelona.
EA FC 25 will have access to clubs from the La Liga and Bundesliga licenses, enabling them to feature official players, club badges, and jerseys. However, they won't have access to the stadiums. Hence, both the Allianz Arena and Camp Nou will be absent from the upcoming version of EA FC. Those who wish to play in those stadiums virtually can play eFootball.
On the contrary, EA Sports' special Premier League license gives the game access to Old Trafford (home of Manchester United) and the Emirates Stadium (home of Arsenal). This means one can play kick-offs, career mode, and journey matches in these stadiums.
