How Australian streamer Robcdee became the Angel of Shibuya

The clip embedded above is the most-watched on Robcdee's channel, with almost 700,000 views on Twitch alone. With it being shared across all major social media sites, the number of people who have watched the streamer save the woman in the video from the man is well into the millions.

The incident dates from February 2020 when the Australian streamer saw another foreigner being harassed by a stranger on the streets. The woman, who was later revealed to be a Moroccan tourist in Japan, was being incessantly followed by the person until the Angel of Shibuya stepped in and posed as a friend to get the man to back off.

Over the same week, Robcdee went on to save another woman who was lying unconscious in the street by calling the cops to take care of her, while a group of men surrounded her.

Another clip of the streamer helping a woman is from Halloween of 2019. While roaming the streets in costume, he came across a man who kept trying to talk to a woman and grabbing her arm, even though she clearly was not interested in interacting with him in any way, shape or form.

While everyone else in the crowd stayed out of the situation, the streamer cunningly distracted the said man long enough by pretending to ask for a picture, allowing the woman to get away from him. After thanking him, Rob too walked away, saying:

"They'll thank me later."

A number of similar clips of the streamer helping women out exist on the internet, but the Angel of Shibuya's kindness is not only limited to helping people from being harassed on the streets. Here is a clip of him helping a biker get back 10 dollars that he dropped while cycling.

He also routinely helps drunk and otherwise unconscious people on the streets, for which he has also been featured on local television channels in Japan.
