Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is arriving on the Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC on October 11, 2024. The title promises a huge roster of 182 characters at launch, surpassing all the previous installments of the Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi series.
With pre-orders for one of anime’s biggest IPs now live, many fans are wondering if Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will be available as an Xbox Game Pass title. Unfortunately for them, the upcoming Dragon Ball title won’t have a day-one release on the Xbox Game Pass.
Not having the game on Xbox Game Pass means players will need to purchase it separately when it releases. That said, there is always a possibility that the title will be added to the Game Pass library at a future date, as seen in the case of Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Could Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO arrive on the Xbox Game Pass in the future?
Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is not included in the upcoming Game Pass lineup. Therefore, Xbox and PC players will need to shell out at least $69.99 to enjoy the game on their systems. This is quite a bummer as Microsoft’s subscription service typically provides day-one access to a huge number of releases at a fraction of the price.
That said, there is a chance that Sparking! ZERO could be added to Xbox Game Pass in the future. While many games receive a day-one launch, some are also added post-release.
Since Dragon Ball FighterZ saw a post-release launch on Game Pass, there is a possibility that the same could happen with this title as well.
However, neither Microsoft nor Bandai Namco has made any official announcements regarding Sparking! ZERO’s release on Xbox Game Pass. Readers are advised to wait for official confirmations before drawing any premature speculations and opinions.
