With Season 3 live for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, fans are already worried about the game's future. Developer Rocksteady Studios' latest live service entry in the Batman Arkham universe has been controversial since it dropped earlier this year, leading to a dwindling user base. As of this writing, less than 200 players are live on Steam to check out Season 3.

This makes one wonder if the game will even have a Season 4 given how poorly the latest Season 3 is performing. Do fans who have chosen to stick around with Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League have reason to worry about the future? No. There will be a Season 4. Let's find out.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is set to receive Season 4 in the future

The good news is that dedicated fans need not worry about being left out to dry in terms of content. As per the official road map posted on the Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League social media account back in July 2024, Season 4 is planned to be coming in the future. Assuming things are fine and no complications arise to throw a wrench in Rocksteady's roadmap, Season 4 will arrive after Season 3.

Unlike other live service games such as Overwatch 2, Seasons do not expire in this title and remain always accessible to all players regardless of which Season they choose to pick the game up. This way, players who arrive late to the party will have a lot of content to play through to catch up. What comes after Season 4 however is a mystery. The roadmap ends there and we do not know what Rocksteady has planned after it.

The "And More" tag on the roadmap does suggest there will be more content in development, but will it be worth it when there are not enough players to justify the development costs? If things get too dire (and looking at current trends, they likely will), Season 4 just may be the last update. Our review of the game did not inspire confidence, thanks to repetitive gameplay and forgettable writing. Let's await official confirmation and see what lies ahead.
