Wuthering Waves 1.2 characters, banner, and attribute leaks

Xiangli Yao and Zhezhi are set to be the upcoming characters in the Wuthering Waves 1.2 update, Apart from this, more information on the two has been provided by leaks. As of version 1.1, neither has appeared in the game but one of the names has been mentioned a few times during the main story.

Wuthering Waves 1.2 character banners and leaked attributes

Kuro Games has announced Xiangli Yao and Zhezhi's imminent arrival in Version 1.2 through their official social media accounts. However, the developers have yet to confirm the banner order. That said, the potential Character Convene Events have already been leaked.

Here's a list of all the characters expected to be featured in the Wuthering Waves 1.2 update, courtesy of @WutheringW0rld:

Phase I

• Xiangli Yao (5-star Electro)
• Aalto (4-star Aero)
• Danjin (4-star Havoc)
• Yuanwu (4-star Electro)

Phase II

• Zhezhi (5-star Glacio)
• Sanhua (4-star Glacio)
• Baizhi (4-star Glacio)
• Chixia (4-star Fusion)

Despite being revealed second, Xiangli Yao is expected to be released in the first half of version 1.2. Furthermore, Rovers will have a chance of getting Aalto, Danjin, and Yuanwu while pulling on the first phase banner.

Meanwhile, Zhezhi will likely debut in the second phase. Additionally, it is speculated that Sanhua, Baizhi, and Chixia will be featured on the commission painter's banner.

It is also worth adding that the recent kit leaks suggest that Xiangli Yao will likely be a 5-star on-field damage dealer with the Electro Attribute. Meanwhile, Zhezhi is expected to be a 5-star unit with the Glacio Attribute and her leaked kit implies that she will likely be an amazing sub-DPS unit.

@Wuthering_Wives on X recently shared the images of Xiangli Yao and Zhezhi's potential 5-star signature weapons. Based on the leaks, it is speculated that the Huaxu Academy's Principal Investigator is a Gauntlet user. Meanwhile, Zhezhi appears to be a Rectifier user. The names and stats of these weapons are currently unknown, but Rovers can expect more details soon.

Both weapons will be featured on Weapon Convene Events alongside their respective owners, and Rovers will be guaranteed to get the desired 5-star weapon at least once every 80 pulls.

Since Changli's banner will be available until August 14, 2024, players can expect the new version 1.2 update to go live on or around August 15, 2024.
