The new leaks suggest that Xiangli Yao and Zhezhi — the two main 5-star units releasing in the upcoming version — have received some noticeable adjustments in their potential kits.

Xiangli Yao's Resonance Liberation, Cogitation Model, has potentially been nerfed. The damage multipliers for it have reportedly been reduced by at least 300%.

According to leaked information, some of Xiangli Yao's Sequences have also been updated, such as:

• S5: Outro Skill gains an additional DMG Multiplier of 222.09%. Resonance Liberation's DMG Multiplier has increased by 120%.
• S6: Enhance the Hypercubes obtained from Resonance Liberation Cogitation Model, increasing the DMG Multiplier of Resonance Skill Law of Reigns by 76%.

Leaks suggest Zhezhi has received some buffs in her rumored kit that will aid her in being a more efficient resonator. Her Resonance Skill: Creation's Zenith has received a buff where the duration of the Basic Attack damage boost has been increased from 25 seconds to 27 seconds.

Additionally, Zhezhi's Sequence 1 and Sequence 2 have been swapped with each other.

Both units are expected to be released in version 1.2 of Wuthering Waves. Based on the leaks, Xiangli Yao is expected to be a free claimable 5-star unit.
