Kuro Games has officially announced the Wuthering Waves 1.3 character and banner schedule, along with the other upcoming content. In contrast, the new 5-star Spectro unit, Shorekeeper, will debut in the first half.

Wuthering Waves 1.3 character banner schedule

As specified, Wuthering Waves 1.3 will feature a brand new 5-star character in the first phase banner, set to release with the update on September 29, 2024, at 11 am (UTC+8). The second phase of patch 1.3 will kick off on October 24, 2024, at 10 am (server time), introducing the first rerun banner in the game.

First phase banner (September 29, 2024)

• Shorekeeper (5-star, Spectro- Rectifier)
• Taoqi (4-star, Havoc- Broadblade)
• Yangyang (4-star, Aero- Sword)
• Chixia (4-star, Fusion- Pistol)

Second phase banner (October 24, 2024)

• Jiyan (5-star, Aero- Broadblade)
• Youhu (4-star, Glacio- Gauntlet)
• Sanhua (4-star, Glacio- Sword)
• Mortefi (4-star, Fusion- Pistol)

Among them, Shorekeeper and Youhu are the only new characters in patch 1.3. They were showcased in the recent Wuthering Waves livestream event, where viewers were able to witness the Resonator's gameplay, kit, and ability interactions during combat. It could help them decide whether the characters are worth summoning upon release.

Interestingly, both Shorekeeper and Youhu will take on the role of support units, given their ability to heal allies while buffing their damage in some way.
