According to the latest beta leaks by Team Gemberry78, Kuro Games is expected to introduce a new time-limited event in the upcoming Wuthering Waves 1.4 update. During this event, Rovers can spend double Waveplates when claiming rewards after completing a dungeon challenge. Naturally, this will also mean that players can obtain double rewards.

For example, after completing the Simulation Challenge at max SOL3 Phase, players can obtain 84,000 Shell Credits by consuming 40 Waveplates. However, during the rumored time-limited event, one could potentially spend 80 Waveplates to get 168,000 Shell Credit in one go.

Unfortunately, according to Team Gemberry78, the new feature to consume double Waveplate cannot be stacked over other similar events, such as Bountiful Crescendo, Chord Cleansing, and Intensive Training. Based on the leaks, if any of these events are active, Rovers must first consume all double-reward attempts for the new reward system to take effect.

It is also important to note that Rovers must at least be at SOL3 Phase III to be eligible for the rumored Waveplate event. Furthermore, players can consume double Waveplate in the following dungeon challenges during the event:

• Simulation Challenge
• Tacet Field
• Boss challenge
• Forgery Challenge

It essentially covers all the dungeons and challenges that Rovers can complete to farm the materials required to level up a character.
