Wuthering Waves 2.0 character release order leaks

Kuro Games has officially confirmed that Carlotta and Roccia will be released in the upcoming Wuthering Waves 2.0 update. The new version will go live on January 2, 2025, and introduce a new region called Rinascita, a hidden archipelago and the Land of Echoes. Furthermore, recent leaks from reliable sources hint at potential reruns of two popular characters from Huanglong, including Jinhsi.

This article will briefly cover all the official and leaked characters likely to get banners in the Wuthering Waves 2.0 update.

Wuthering Waves 2.0 character and banners

New characters

Kuro Games has revealed via drip marketing on X that Carlotta and Roccia will be the first two characters to become playable in the upcoming Wuthering Waves 2.0 update. Based on the order of their reveal and leaks from fairly trusted sources such as Tide, Rovers can expect the Rinascita characters to be released in the following order:

• Carlotta - Phase I
• Roccia - Phase II

According to the official Rinascita posts, the second daughter of the Monetlli family is a 5-star character and likely has the Glacio Attribute. Carlotta can also be seen holding a Pistol, suggesting it will be her weapon of choice. Meanwhile, Roccia is also a 5-star character and leaks indicate that her Attribute might be Havoc.

While Kuro Games has yet to reveal the banner schedule, Rovers can expect version 2.0 banners to drop on these dates:

• Phase I banners - January 2, 2025
• Phase II banners - Around January 27, 2025

Unfortunately, the duration of all Wuthering Waves' version updates has been inconsistent, so it is difficult to predict the duration of the first phase in version 2.0 and, as such the exact starting date of Phase II.

Rerun characters

According to the leaks from Mapleaf, players can look forward to Zhezhi and Jinhsi's reruns in version 2.0. It is speculated that the former will be in the first half with Carlotta, which makes sense since the commissioned painter from Jinzhou is an excellent Glacio support character. Meanwhile, the Jinzhou Magistrate will return in the second phase of version 2.0 with Roccia.

This will be Jinhsi and Zhezhi's first rerun banner, so Rovers can take this chance to pull them. Both are amazing characters who can undoubtedly make an account much better.

Mapleaf has a mixed track record, but this leak matches other leaked information about version 2.0, so it is likely to be credible.
