New information about Wuthering Waves 2.0 and the following version 2.x updates have leaked. This includes story-related content and total version updates for the next region in the game. Additionally, the leaks hint at the availability of one of the most popular characters as a playable unit — Phrolova. That said, the leaker did not share any info on her exact release version.

According to the latest leaks from Step Leaker, Phrolova is likely to be the main antagonist in the main story when the new region drops in the Wuthering Waves 2.0 update. This shouldn't come as a surprise since she is an Overseer from the main villain group called Fractsidus and played a major role in the Tacet Discord outbreak in the Main Quest Chapter I Act VI - Grand Warstorm.

Assuming the leak is true, this could also reveal more information about Phrolova and her abilities.

Step Leaker also claims that Phrolova will become a playable character and is likely to be released in one of the 2.x updates. Unfortunately, the leaker didn't mention the exact release version. Phrolova's Attribute and weapon type are also currently unknown, so Rovers will have to wait for more information. That said, she is expected to be a 5-star character.

It is worth adding that version 2.0 will introduce a new region and Team Mew claims that the new area is likely to be Rinascita. The nation has been mentioned several times in the game but not much is known about it except that it is home to sentient Echoes. Team Mew is a fairly reliable source, so this info too can be considered credible.

Furthermore, according to Step Leaker, the Rinascita update is expected to last until version 2.8, meaning players can expect a lot of content in this region. It is also safe to say that it will take a long time before Kuro Games releases the third nation in the game.
