Wuthering Waves 2.1 drip marketing reveals Phoebe

Kuro Games has finally revealed the first character to be released in the Wuthering Waves 2.1 update. The upcoming version will go live on February 13, 2025, and the event banner will feature Phoebe from the Order of the Deep in Rinascita. She is a 5-star character whom most players would already be familiar with, as she played a significant role in the Rinascita Chapter of the main story.

Wuthering Waves 2.1 drip marketing reveals Phoebe as a playable character

Kuro Games has officially announced Phoebe as the new playable character in the upcoming Wuthering Waves 2.1 update on the social media platform X. Since the Phase II banners in version 2.0 will end on February 12, 2025, it is safe to say that version 2.1 will go live on February 13, 2025.

Here's the official description of Phoebe's drip marketing post on X:

"Phoebe, an Acolyte of the Order of the Deep, always carries herself with warmth and grace. Devout and steadfast in her adherence to the Order's doctrines, she embodies exceptional self-discipline. Yet beneath her composed exterior burns a vibrant spirit, alight with heartfelt joy for all she holds dear."

Phoebe is an Acolyte of the Order of the Deep in Rinascita. She is a kind person and always carries herself with grace, but is also passionate about the things dear to her. Phoebe is also one of the first characters Rovers meet when they visit Rinascita for the first time.

Based on the previous drip marketing patterns and character releases, Phoebe will likely be in the first phase of the upcoming update since she is the first Resonator to be revealed for version 2.1. This also means Rovers can expect her banner to be available on February 13, 2025.

That said, the developers have yet to reveal Phoebe's weapon type and Attribute. Even during the main story Act III cutscene, she was only seen using her cane to cast a shield with Zani to protect Ragunna City so it is difficult to predict her weapon of choice. Thus, Rovers will have to wait until the next livestream or other official announcements related to version 2.1 for more information.
