Wuthering Waves 2.3 characters leaked

With the release of Wuthering Waves 2.0 imminent, leaks pertaining to future content in the 2.x patches have already started cropping up. One such leak has hinted at the appearance of a brand new character in Wuthering Waves 2.3, who has not been drip-marketed yet. This new character is named Ciaccona, and will supposedly be released along with Resonator Zani in version 2.3, as per the leak.

Ciaccona and Zani to be released in Wuthering Waves 2.3, as per leaks

In a leak shared by reputed leaker StepLeaks (and reposted on Reddit by user ISRUKRENG), Wuthering Waves 2.3 might have two new Resonator banners: Ciaccona and Zani — a character who has officially been drip-marketed by Kuro Games. Ciaccona, however, is a completely new name, and this leak is the first ever mention of her.

According to the leak, Ciaccona will be a female Aero character. Her design supposedly features her having red hair and elf-like ears. She has also been mentioned to use a violin, although it is unknown whether her actual weapon will be a violin or she will have violin-themed attack animations.

Ciaccona's rumored design with red hair and elf ears has prompted many comparisons between her and Yinlin — a 5-Star Electro Resonator in Wuthering Waves who also has red hair and elf ears, leading to the very obvious comparisons.

Some other fans have also pointed out similarities between Ciaccona and Selena from Punishing: Gray Raven (which is another RPG title from Kuro Games). While Selena does not have either red hair or elf ears, she has been featured with a violin/cello in Punishing: Gray Raven, contributing to the comparisons with Ciaccona.

The aforementioned leak also states that Zani might be the other character releasing in Wuthering Waves 2.3. Neither of these characters' rarities have been revealed so far.
