A True Arena Champion is a Wuthering Waves side quest that deals with the recent troubles caused by an Exile champion in the Seaside Arena in Wuming Bay. While the quest has an interesting storyline, the reward payoff is a bit underwhelming for the amount of time the quest takes.

To start A True Arena Champion side quest in Wuthering Waves, teleport to the Forgery Challenge: Eroded Ruins in Wuming Bay. Drop down from the southern end of the mountain to find an Exile being swarmed by a pack of Fusion Dreadmanes. Defeat the enemies and talk with the Exile.

Find Zeyuan at the camp entry and inquire about the situation in the camp

After starting the quest, go forward and meet Zeyuan at the entrance of the camp. Talk to a Smiling Exile in the camp to learn a little about the Seaside Arena. Talk to the current Arena champion to learn even more about the whole situation. After talking to him, return to Zeyuan and collect your camp access pass.

Talk to the receptionist and complete the three challenges

The receptionist will give you three challenges to complete. The first one is a movement challenge where you must retrieve a gun from the top of the camp. The second challenge is a simple shooting trial. Some of the targets are a little bit far so make sure to aim precisely and take bullet drop into consideration.

The final challenge is a bit far away from the camp. Go to the marked location and defeat the Examiner Exile to complete all three challenges. Return to the receptionist to receive the three badges required to participate in the Seaside Arena.

Defeat your opponents in the Arena

Proceed inside the Seaside Arena and defeat three different opponents. The strength of each opponent's Tacet Discords increases one after the other. However, having a decently built team will allow you to get past this objective easily. Once done, the Arena Champion will call and ask you to meet him.

Talk to the Arena Champion and discuss strategy with Examiner Exile

The Arena Champion will request you to forfeit the final round and let him get the win. The Examiner Exile will join you mid-conversation and convince you to reject his demands. Once the Arena Champion leaves, talk to the Examiner Exile and she will give you words of motivation.

Set the time to 12:00 pm on the next day to quickly proceed with the quest's final few minutes. Go to the Seaside Arena and defeat the various Tacet Discords the Arena Champion throws at you to defeat him.

After this, go back to the camp and talk to Zeyuan and the Examiner Exile. Have one final chat with the Arena Champion and you will be able to collect the rewards for completing this side quest in Wuthering Waves.
