Boundary of Deduction in Wuthering Waves is a simple quest in the Black Shores. During it, you must meet KU-Repair and help it restore two rooms to the same state. One is a Mysterious Room and the other is a normal room in the Error Cell in Tethys' Deep.

Luckily, the puzzle is pretty simple, but some might find it tricky since the quest doesn't provide many hints. Upon completing it, you will get 40 Astrites, two Advanced Supply Chests, and a new trophy.

Teleport to the Error Cell area using the Resonance Beacon and turn right to enter the building. Next, take the stairs on the right side and keep moving forward while staying close to the wall to find a robot called KU-Repair next to a door. Talk to it to start the Boundary of Deduction quest.

Enter the room and inspect the info tablet

Enter the room and inspect the info tablet on the table to get a hint on what to do next.


Enter the portal and restore both rooms to the same state

Once you've inspected the info tablet, a portal will open on the other side of the room. Entering it will take you to a Mysterious Room that looks exactly like the one in Error Cell.

Now you must restore both rooms to the same state. To do so, switch off four computer screens on the table in the original room based on the ones in the Mysterious Room. Refer to the image above for the exact screens. Note that a couple of screens will require multiple attempts to turn off. This will also spawn a Tacet Discord.

Defeat the mob before turning off the screen one last time to finally restore both rooms to the same state. You will get two Advanced Supply Chests for solving the puzzle.


Proceed to the backup Analysis Room and talk to the person outside

Use the portal to go to the backup Analysis Room and talk to Lester. This will complete the Boundary of Deduction quest and you will get 40 Astrites.
