As with previous quests in the Second Coming of Solaris event, teleport to the Jinzhou resonance beacon and head inside the Pioneer Association office to find Maqi. Talk to her to start the quest.

Maqi requests you provide the "Burning Jade" as a reference to complete the final chapter. You can ask her for more clues regarding this material, after which she redirects you to a man named Xieyang.

Teleport to a resonance beacon inside the city and talk to Xieyang. He provides you with an Impure Phlogiston that you can submit to Maqi. You can skip this task if you already have the following materials in your inventory:

• Cadence Seed
• Impure Phlogiston
• Waveborn Residue 210
• Waveborn Residue 226
• Waveborn Residue 235
• Waveborn Residue 239

Submit one of these items to Maqi. It is recommended to give the Cadence Seed, Impure Phlogistion, or Waveborn Residue 210, as these are the lowest quality character and weapon ascension materials. The remaining three Waveborn Residues are quite rare and are needed to upgrade the skills of characters like Calcharo and Jiyan.
