Wuthering Waves Data Overdash quest guide

Data Overdash is a new quest in Wuthering Waves' Black Shores. It is a very short and simple mission, featuring a small challenge that you must complete within a time limit. Once you've finished the Overdash challenge, you will face a Tacet Discord. Completing the quest will give you 40 Astrites and a Premium Supply Chest, which is also worth 40 Astrites, so one can earn up to 80 Astrites.

The Data Overdash quest is located in the Black Shores' Tethys' Deep area. Go to the small island east of the Data Torrent (Fallacy of No Return boss location) to find an NPC named Overdash Researcher on the small dock. Talk to her to start the Data Overdash quest. This will summon a challenge point next to the NPC.

Complete the Overdash challenge

Interact with the challenge point and complete it. It is similar to the regular Overdash challenges with an extra Portal mechanism. That said, you don't have to collect any items or coins, but simply reach the target location within the time limit. Try to avoid the traps since they will slow you down significantly.

Defeat the Tacet Discord

Once you have completed the Overdash challenge, you will reach a room with holographic walls and a Lumiscale Construct in Wuthering Waves. Next, you must defeat the mob. It is an easy enemy so you shouldn't have any trouble defeating it.

Use the portal after defeating the Lumiscale Construct. This will take you back to the ground near the Overdash Researcher.

Talk to the researcher

Finally, talk to the Overdash Researcher one last time. This will complete the Data Overdash quest and you will get the following rewards:

• Astrite x40
• Premium Supply Chest x1
• Union EXP x200
• Shell Credit x16000
• Advanced Resonance Potion x2
• Advanced Energy Core x1

Opening the Premium Supply Chest will give you another 40 Astrite rewards.
