Wuthering Waves Desorock Highland Mutterfly locations

Desorock Highland in Wuthering Waves is located north of Central Plains and Jinzhou in the Huanglong region. You can find up to 14 Mutterflies in this area. However, unlike most other Mutterflies in the game, some of the golden butterflies in Desorock Highland give a few Sonance Caskets instead of the regular Astrite rewards. These Mutterflies are also easy to miss since most of them are hidden or are located in pretty high places.

Mutterfly #1, #2, and #3

Break all the vases (Image via Kuro Games)

Teleport to the Resonance Beacon southwest of Desorock Highland and head east. Look for three vases by the unmetalled road and break them. Doing so will summon three Mutterflies. Follow them to get a Sonance Casket.

Mutterfly #4

You can find one at the cave entrance (Image via Kuro Games)

After collecting the Sonance Casket, head northeast to find a Mutterfly at the cave entrance below the Tacet Field. Follow the insects and get five Astrite rewards.

Head to north Desorock Highland (Image via Kuro Games)

Teleport to the Resonance Beacon near the Impermanence Heron and head north to find a Mutterfly near a buried upside-down tank. Follow it to get five Astrite rewards.

Head southwest from your previous location (Image via Kuro Games)

After following the Mutterfly in the previous location, head straight to find another one atop a tank. Furthermore, you can find a Sonance Casket nearby.

Mutterfly #7

Above the Impermance Heron (Image via Kuro Games)

Teleport to the Resonance Beacon west of Impermanence Heron and head east to the giant pointy rock to find a Mutterfly. Follow the golden butterflies once you reach the point of interest. A Tacet Discord will spawn, so beware, but you can also ignore it and head to the next location.

Mutterfly #8

Climb the facility to find a Mutterfly (Image via Kuro Games)

Teleport to Resonance Beacon in Rearguard Base and head north to climb the giant facility. You can find a Mutterfly at the top of the building. Follow it to its destination and get five Astrites in Wuthering Waves.

Mutterfly #9, #10, and #11

You can find three Mutterflies here (Image via Kuro Games)

Teleport to the Resonance Beacon near Misty Coast and head north to climb the tallest pointy rock to find a Mutterfly. Following it to its destination will spawn another one. Similarly, following the second Mutterfly to its destination will spawn the third one. Once you have followed all three Mutterflies to their destinations, you will get a Sonance Casket.

Unfortunately, you won't get any Astrite rewards.

Mutterfly #12

Hit the Training Dummies in order (Image via Kuro Games)

You can find one Mutterfly and a few Training Dummies north of Misty Coast. You must solve the puzzle to get the rewards. Start by following the Mutterfly and hit all the dummies in order. Completing the challenge will spawn a Standard Supply Chest, worth 10 Astrites.

You can find one Mutterfly near the Thundering Mephis boss location in Withering Frontline. Note that there are many Tacet Discords in this area so beware. Carrying a strong party is advised or you can also run away and head to the next location.

Complete the Tactical Hologram challenge (Image via Kuro Games)

Teleport to the Resonance Beacon east of Misty Coast and head north to find a Tactical Hologram challenge. Start the challenge to spawn a Mutterfly and reach the destination before the group of insects.
